As of 2006-05-01 we have stop using ad agency services, mainly because they tend to sneak in `bad` ads that is against our ad policy every once a while and among other problems involved.
Because of this you can be assured that there will be no ads or popups almost all the time. If you encounter a popup, check if your Pc has a spyware. If that is the case, we recommend using Firefox and Spybot which is a free spyware scanner.
Our ad policy
All advertisements on our website must be suitable for kids (age below 12), we don't allow:
- Gambling related
- Sex related
- Scam (sites that cheats people of their money)
- MLM, Piramid & Get rich schemes
- Dialers, Spyware, Trojan, Virus
- Ads that shakes the browser, resize or manipulates it
- Shaking, flashing ads that blinds the users
- No immoral ads
- Ad must not be in direct competition to us

We`ve got 600,000 registered members, 90 million page views a month (approx 650 million hits), 2.5 million unique hits, 3 million page views a day on all of our games plus hundreds of players online at any given time. Our rates
There is 2 ads spots, 468x60 at the top of the page and 120x600 on the right (est. 6 million banner impression per day). We will only show your ad for the duration of your campaign with a 100% ad inventory. Minimum is 7 days, sorry no free-trial or shorter ad campaigns.
Per day rate: $200.00 (cpm* $0.033)
Per month rate: $5,000.00 ($1000 discount, cpm* $0.027)
6 months campaign: $25,000.00 (save $11,000, cpm* $0.023)

We accept payment via credit card, paypal, bank wire. We`ll offer 50% discount for all non-profit ads (ex: cancer awareness, red cross, etc). Serious offers only, interested please contact info[a]gamestotal[.]com with the subject `Sf: Advertising on Gamestotal.com`.

$100 per banner creation (gif/jpg), $150 for flash, $200 for html with gif/jpg/flash combo
How to report bad ads
We have experienced some advertisers sneaking in illegal ads behind our back (doesnt show here), if this were to occur please do report to us.
For Firefox
Go to http://uc.gamestotal.com, wait until the unsuitable ad shows up. Then
Right click* > View Frame source
Right click* > View Frame info
Right click* > Properties, copy the `Address` and `Location`
Click on the ad & copy the link of the destination
Label it as `right click > View Frame source = `bla bla bla`, current date & email everything over to us at abuse[a]gamestotal[.]com with the subject `Sf: Ad complain`
For Internet Explorer
Right click* > Address
Right click* > Copy shortcut
Click on the ad & copy the link of the destination

We immediately remove any ads found to be in breach of our offensive ad policy from our ad rotation and ad inventory. If this ad is handled by an ad agency, depending on the severity of the case we may remove all ads under the effected ad agency until this ad matters are resolved. Remember we run this website to entertain players and to make sure everyone have fun, and we do not support nor condone any bad ads that may have snuck up on us.
Notes & Terms
Hits = each hit the server gets, this can be a search engine spider (non-human). ex: if the page has frames, this means 1 page view may be equivalent to over 5-6 hits or more
Page view = 1 page (entire page) which a human person sees
Unique hits = defined by xtreme tracking unique person who visits the site with a 24 hour cap
Banner creation = if you need us to design the banner for you, you will have to provide as pictures, graphics, images & theme
